Ways To Get Involved
We are selling the book, Cry Purple, to raise money for a trailer home that will be a safer, more permanent environment for us, where Ricky and I can begin to build a life. As I struggle to find work, and on our limited income, I am unable to move us from our one bedroom apartment.
We need to sell 3500 books to raise enough to find a little place. That is a lot of self published books! We hope you will share this web site with all your friends and family.
If you are not interested in buying the book, but still want to make a contribution toward our dream of a permanent home, you may do so via the Paypal link below, or you can send a check to our post office box, which is also listed below. Please note that we are not a non profit, so there is no possibility of a tax deduction, only the gratitude of a single, blind mom and her six year old son, and the knowledge that you are making a difference in our lives.
As we move closer to the funds needed be it by book sales, or love fund contributions, I will update our blog so you can follow our pursuit of happiness and our idea of the American dream!
